"An American in Deal"
American Mark Weatherley and his family have been riding their bikes around the Deal area and want to share their thoughts about the experience in an informal meeting next week.
They come from the Mid-west city of Boulder Colorado and rented a house in Deal as a base to explore Britain during a sabbatical ending in December 2014. "The high speed train and the quaint narrow streets near the station made it an ideal base for us, since we decided not to have a car for our stay," said Mark a high school geography teacher. He shared his reflections on walking and cycling around Deal and local traffic issues,in an open meeting and discussion entitled "An American in Deal" at Golf Road Community Centre. |
